BATDAY. Bat shelter box workshop

This special activity, guided by specialists, is aimed at the general public from 8 years of age but they must always be accompanied by adults who will be the ones who will manipulate the tools and build the boxes. It takes place in the BIOPARC Valencia classrooms and does not include entry to BIOPARC Valencia.

Price

€5 for the general public and €3 for people who have the annual pass B! from BIOPARC. Accreditation will be requested at the access control to the activity. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with Caixa Popular and the amount is allocated entirely to nature conservation through the BIOPARC Foundation.

Bat shelter box workshop

In addition to learning about the impressive characteristics of bats and discovering their fascinating stories, we will focus on knowing where bats live both in the natural and rural and urban environments.

As it is a practical workshop, it will explain what to do when we have bats at home and how we can help in our daily lives in the conservation of these threatened species.

During the workshop, shelter boxes for urban or fissure bats will be built.

Each participant will be given the different pieces of wood already cut to the appropriate size, the screws and the necessary tools. At the end of the activity you can take your shelter box with you.

Aimed at ages 8 and up, up to 16 years, the accompaniment of a single adult person responsible for handling the tools and building the boxes is necessary.
